It has parts made from stainless steel, brass and unbreakable PVC plastic. This unit will last a teaching career! The launcher sits on a sold wood base that can be used anywhere — grass or pavement. An easily detachable base allows for simple water bottle-rocket set-up. This is especially important if students are making quantitative measurements of flight performance - and most students should.
An activity manual is available that will guide the teacher through activities that integrate mathematics and physical science concepts with launching bottle rockets.
